News

Well, Its been like off-season for the trainers for most of first semester but second semester I'll be back to work doing softball practices and games; its not gonna be as fun as the football practices and games because its only going to be 2 trainers but hopefully it won't be too boring and it gets me 1 step closer to getting a letterman jacket (which is what I really want before I graduate high school.) I start next week (so close...) I hope it goes by really fast (it ends April 28 then its going to be another off period). When I heard of what I was doing I got nervous (and I'm still a little nervous) because it looks like its going to be a lot of responsibility when doing this sport (there's only going to be one other person to rely on :( For me being a trainer a little longer than the other girl , I already know that these 3 months are gonna be a little stressful sometimes but I need to learn about responsibility now, while I'm young.

Right now, my main concerns are Exams :( and keeping my grades good.

After the playoffs

After football season, training is a time to just chill and relax. Some trainers may do other sports and Some (like me) are just focused on our grades and other activities going on around school.

Football season to alot of the trainers is the fun. After football season, its really laid back and relaxed but Me personally I loved the hecticness of the season, but I also love the relaxed feeling of not having to stand out in the heat, sweating like crazy or being in the cold rain freezing like crazy. Staying after school when I really just want to go home and take a nap. Normally after practice I would go straight home and take a nap and forget about my homework (well, that was the excuse I would tell my teachers haha!) now I have no excuse for forgetting my homework (ha..even though I still do but that's my fault). It's nice to be around friends, even games on the weekends were really fun and It's nice being a part of an event that so many people go to and not having to pay and still being able to enjoy the game (and the best part about that is we get the best sits....on the field!) The trainers do have to take precaution because if you're not careful and don't watch your back, you could get hit by a player who happens to get tackled onto the sidelines (hehe...that happened to me but luckily it was a freshmen game so not that many people went but it was still caught on tape and to this day, people are still coming up to me laughing and reminding me! Trust me, I learned my lesson.). It is a really fun elective and great for someone like me who's not very athletic but still wants to be apart of something around school and be among friends. For now, I'm going to have to start paying for my tickets to get into games

Until next season...

The Playoffs

A very sad day and I got a lot of pictures of it. It was MacArthur Vs. Plano East panthers and Mac was in the lead for a long while and hopes were high and then..........we went into a tie and went into overtime. We unfortunately lost by one point! It was a sad moment and I did get a little teary eyed, because like everyone else in the bleachers and who were on the Mac side had a small feeling that we were gonna win and it was a high possibility but the other side got lucky. But, it was amazing how close the game was and actually made alot of people proud of the team.

The Senior recognition

I'm not a senior so I didn't stay for all of the ceremony but I did get some pictures. I wish I would have stayed for the whole thing as well as the second game but I unfortunately had to go home.
Here are the pictures of the firetruck crew^^^^^^^
